Jol Thomson graduated in 2009 from the University of Toronto with an Honors BA consisting of degrees in Philosophy, Art History and Visual Studies. He is a graduating student (2013) of Prof. Simon Starling at the Staedelschule where he took part also in soundstudio seminar with Prof. Carsten Nicolai in Frankfurt aM, Germany. He currently is based between Frankfurt and Berlin.
